Dr. Bianca Ranney is currently a Registered Psychological Assistant at CCPC under the supervision of Dr. Anita Miheocby. Dr. Ranney is a licensed marriage and family therapist and manages her own private practice Sunrise Psychological Services.
After receiving her Bachelor‘s degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, she obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University Riverside and her Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Orange. Dr. Ranney is trained in addiction rehabilitation and has worked within the trauma population for the past 14 years, specifically, with victims of violent crimes.
Dr. Ranney specializes in depressive and anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, and substance abuse treatment. She works with adults, children, adolescents, families and couples. Dr. Ranney is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) by the EMDR Institute. By displaying compassion and empathy, Dr. Ranney strives to create a supportive environment for each client in which they feel safe and comfortable. Dr. Ranney considers herself her client’s number one advocate throughout their journey of healing. Dr. Ranney's focus is to help individuals and families heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. Dr. Ranney’s experience enables her to offer effective, individualized psychological care.
